Real Fossil Kits We offer
two main real fossil kits. "Age of the Dinosaur" and "Prehistoric Plants". Both kits contain 6 units or chapters,
each of which can be purchased as separate kits. All kits meet Federal and individual state teaching requirements
as set forth by the National Academy of Sciences. Each kit was designed by a certified Earth Science Teachers
and utilized the new rubric method of teaching. All kits come with real
(not replicated) fossils and in-depth teachers manual, and follow along student guide books. Kits come with
lesson plans, tests, real fossil specimens, lab supplies, overhead projector transparencies, and teaching
suggestions on how to organize classes into stations or in pairs of two students. The kits have been
successfully tested with grades k through 11 in several states. The student reading material can be used
by advanced reading 4th graders up to 11th grade. The kits offer an exciting way to learn about the
earth's distance past! You can purchase one kit to be set up and taught in stations (student moving
from station to station) or you can purchase our larger kit with enough fosssils to teach a classroom
of 16 students working in pairs, sharing supplies and specimens!
